The regular black tea you drink can cause teeth stains -- even more than coffee, say dentists. This is due to the rich amount of stain-promoting tannins present in black tea. (Coffee by comparison, though darker in color, has lower levels of tannin.)
Minimize staining: Try substituting your black tea with other varieties which are less likely to stain, such as green, white or herbal teas.
