Watch your salt intake when dining out

When you eat out, it's not always easy to keep your salt intake in check as you have less control over the ingredients. But there are ways to make it healthier: Stick to basic foods that are grilled, baked or roasted, and ask for the sauce on your entree and the dressing on your salad to be served on the side. Taste your food first, and only use the salt shaker if needed -- and use it sparingly.
